Brain Tumour

Brain Tumour

I reviewed this patient 4 months after surgery. She had a brain tumour which was considered inoperable by most neurosurgeons in the country. I offered her surgery and did endoscopic resection of the brain tumour. I almost had tears in my eyes when I saw her back in clinic healthy and well 4 months on. This was one of the most challenging cases. Being the only one offering minimally invasive endoscopic brain surgery has its ups and downs. Having done hundreds of endoscopic brain surgeries I still have to take a pause and think as the last thing I want as a neurosurgeon is to cause any harm. Allah Almighty blessed me this time. I also thank all the team and the onoclogist and endocrinologist at shifa for their ongoing support.
